USAID/Community HIV Care and Treatment (CHCT) activity aims to accelerate and sustain HIV/AIDS epidemic control in Ethiopia. The objectives and interventions are designed to impact UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals and the following major programmatic focus areas.
- Providing passive referral for spouse/sexual contacts and children of index clients to health facilities
- Providing HIV self-testing for spouse/sexual contacts of index clients
- Strengthening community based HIV/AIDS case management with individualized action plans
- Improving adherence to treatment including tracking and re-engaging those lost to follow up
- Strengthen support for Clients in ASM through community level interventions
- Building the capacity of local organizations and systems to provide high impact HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services at the community level
- Provide economic strengthening services
- Increasing data availability with improved use for decision making by community health services
- Strengthen the data digitalization to make referrals and communication between HF and community real time
- Differentiating ART service through a client centered approach (UHEPs – managed CAG)

- ANOPA+ conducts various workshops to combat false believes and negative messaging on ART and assure cascade of the concept to each respective community (Religious leaders and associations leaders)
- Collaboration with PLHIV associations and local implementing partners/LIPs Activities
